now many of you have heard about the accident
that
Cesareo Perez' son, Ben,
had over Memorial Day Weekend this year. Ben suffered a severe
spinal cord injury while surfing and has been hospitalized
for several months, first at UCLA and then at the wonderful
rehabilitation hospital, Rancho Los Amigos. We have heard
that his spirits are high and that he is dealing with his
injuries as well as any high school-aged young adult might.
As anyone whose family has dealt with a catastrophic illness
or injury knows, there are unexpected expenses at every turn.
For a quadriplegic, these expenses will be ongoing for years.
